The
beginning
In April of 1996 I began my career as a real estate professional
with one simple idea to provide home Sellers & Buyers
with exceptional service and the opportunity to large savings.
I wanted to help people achieve their goals and more from
their real estate transaction.
Working
for one of the largest real estate firms at that time, I
decided to offer
home buyers a little financial assistance if they bought a home from
me. I offered to pay from my commission fund their moving costs.
This was extremely popular with the buyers as they appreciated this
help, and in addition it created more interest for the Sellers properties,
however my fellow coworkers and |

management felt that by me offering
this money saving incentive their buyers would demand it from them
and they were not prepared to share their commissions with their
buyers. The management forced me to end this program and all the
other money saving programs that I was planning.
Out
of necessity a great real estate firm is born
Thanks to them I realized that all they cared about was higher
profits and not necessarily the Seller or Buyer, this was the
defining moment for me as this was the type of agent I had no
intention of becoming. Having seen that the real estate business
was driven by greed, I decided to concentrate my energy on getting
my brokers license, and the starting of my own real estate firm
soon followed, based on the concept that every Seller & Buyer
should have access to great representation, savings and his best
interests should be held above all else including profits.
My
company (BestQuote Realty) is unlike any other real estate firm
you may have experienced in the past. We are constantly looking

As
a nurse of 10 years I cared for many people and got to know
every single one of my patients, and they became part of my
extended family. I helped them adjust to their situations
which life had brought upon them. My transition to Real Estate
is a natural one, the caring continues in a different way
but of equal importance.
Helping
people get the most of their real estate transactions, this
idea was always of particular interest to me. For most people
the buying or selling of a home may be one of the most important
financial decisions of their life, and I would love to be
there to help them make the best decisions for them. I love
meeting new people and I have learned to use my communication
skills for the best of the people I am representing. As a
nurse I was understanding and actually listen to people in
order to understand their needs. If you would like your Realtor
to actually listen and act according to your needs rather
than their own then I would love to be your Realtor. |

Friends and family have been telling me for years that I should be in sales, so I finally decided to make a career change into real estate. I have been a resident of the Quinte area for over 30 years. I came to live in the area when my father was transferred here from Alberta. After he retired from the air force, we remained in the Quinte area, where I went to school. Through the years I have had rewarding employment and have gained a lot of experience working with people. The last 12 years I have been an ophthalmic assistant. I have worked with a variety of patients, young and young at heart, who have taught me diligence and understanding that I think would be beneficial in helping find a home or property for my future clients. Since childhood, I have been a member of the curling world and I did play the sport for 30 years. My family has been very active in curling and I even met my husband at the Bay of Quinte Curling Bonspiel, a few years ago.
